Our History

In 1968, Dr. Neil Stewart opened Pediatric Associates in Camillus, NY. Shortly thereafter, the practice grew to include Dr. Richard Bennett, and three other young doctors, Dr. F. James Cirincione, Dr. Robert Corwin, and Dr. Dan Daniels. Together, these pediatricians served an entire generation of children.

In 1987, Pediatric Associates opened a second office in Liverpool to meet the growing demand for quality pediatric care. When Dr. Cirincione retired in December 2009, after 37 years of service to the community, he left a continuing legacy of caring for children and their families.

Today, more than 50 years later, Pediatric Associates is comprised of 10 Full-Time Board Certified Pediatricians and 3 Nurse Practitioners.

Pediatric Associates Recognized for Quality Lab Services

​Pediatric Associates has met all criteria for Laboratory Accreditation by COLA, a national healthcare accreditation organization. Accreditation is given only to laboratories that apply rigid standards of quality in day-to-day operations, demonstrate continued accuracy in the performance of proficiency testing, and pass a rigorous on-site laboratory survey.

Pediatric Associates has earned COLA accreditation as a result of a long-term commitment to provide quality service to our patients. We believe that providing quality laboratory services in-house not only makes obtaining such services much easier, but also provides results in a very timely fashion (often at the time of service) leading to improved patient care.

​In-house laboratory services include blood counts, blood lead levels, strep and influenza tests, urinalysis, rapid pregnancy tests, blood sugar determinations and cholesterol testing.
